Die Privatsprechstunde umfasst die Möglichkeit einer kinder- und jugendpsychiatrischen Diagnostik und Behandlung. Dazu gehört die Möglichkeit einer kognitiven, motorischen und sprachlichen Entwicklungsdiagnostik, Eltern-Kind-Interaktionsdiagnostik sowie psychologischen Testung. Zudem sind Laboruntersuchungen sowie apparative Diagnostik möglich. Nach Abschluss der Diagnostik besteht das Angebot einer Weiterbetreuung. Dazu gehören regelmäßige Wiedervorstellungen zur Verlaufskontrolle, medikamentöse Einstellungen sowie Gespräche mit Bezugspersonen und auch psychotherapeutische Interventionen.

Schwerpunkte Prof. Dr. med. Correll:
Klinische Schwerpunkte sind affektive Störungen einschließlich bipolare Störungen, psychotische Erkrankungen, sowie die Beurteilung der Notwendigkeit und Art der psychopharmakologischen Behandlung von Kindern und Jugendlichen, einschließlich Evaluation auf Englisch.

Schwerpunkte Prof. Dr. med. Winter:
Klinische Schwerpunkte sind Posttraumatische Belastungsstörungen, Psychisch auffällige Kinder nach Gewalterfahrung und Vernachlässigung, Münchhausen by proxy, Psychisch auffällige Kinder mit psychisch kranken Eltern, Psychosomatische und Dissoziative Störungen, Somatisch erkrankte Kinder mit psychischen Auffälligkeiten. Evaluation auf Englisch möglich.

English Version: Private Clinic

The private clinic includes the possibility of child and adolescent-specific diagnostic procedures and management. Depending on the indication, this may include diagnostic procedures of the cognitive, motor and language development of the youngster, parent-child interaction as well neuropsychological testing. Additionally, laboratory tests as well as imaging and other procedures may be performed. After conclusion of the diagnostic process, there may be a possibility of further management. This may include regular visits to assess the clinical progress, pharmacotherapy, counseling and psychoeducation with caregivers, as well as psychotherapeutic interventions.

Prof. Dr. med. Correll:
Clinical areas of special expertise include affective disorders, including bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders as well as the evaluation of the need for and type of pharmacological interventions in children and adolescents, including „second opinions“ and evaluations in English.

PD Dr. med. Winter:
Clinical areas of special expertise include post-traumatic stress disorder, children and adolescents with impairing psychiatric symptoms secondary to traumatizing experiences, including abuse and neglect, Munchhausen by proxy, children and adolescents with impairing psychiatric symptoms who have parents with mental illness, psychosomatic and dissociative disorders, and children and adolescents with somatic illness as well as impairing psychiatric symptoms.
